يعد قطاع التأمين من أهم قطاعات الخدمات المالية في العالم، ويواكب مجمل النشاطات الاقتصادية الأخرى ويسهم في دعمها وتطويرها ويحافظ على استقرارها. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى استعراض الاستثمار في شركات التأمين والعوائد المتحققة منه، إذ تتجمع لدى شركات التأمين مبالغ طائلة من الأقساط التي تقوم بإدخالها ثم استثمارها في مجالات مختلفة في الحياة الاقتصادية، ومن اجل تحقيق عوائد مناسبة لتغطية التزاماتها اتجاه حملة الوثائق ودفع التعويضات، والتعرف على العوامل اللازمة لنجاح وظيفة الاستثمار في شركات التأمين. الكلمات المفتاحية: الاستثمار، أقساط التأمين، عوائد الاستثمار.
